The project required a system capable of unifying all existing security systems and allowing those responsible for the security forces to efficiently manage all the resources from a single platform of administration and monitoring.

In the same way, it was required to take advantage of the existing investments and, at the same time, offer the maximum scalability with the aim of progressively renewing the park of security devices of the municipality.

The project developed with the GENETEC platform for the unified management of security systems, allows the Vic Guàrdia Urbana to fully solve these needs so that the authorities can distribute the investments in this area based on the availability of resources at any time And manage growth by contemplating it always as an investment that does not limit them to gradually approach the digital society.

The project proposes the unification of all municipal security systems, whether traffic cameras or citizen security, access control systems with biometrics or RFID, telecommunications, geo location combined with planimetry among others, all centralized in the Control Center of the Guàrdia Urbana from where the agents involved carry out permanent supervision 24 hours a day.
