NexoTech provides and deploys the new video surveillance system for the mining plant of Zouérate in Mauritania. The construction of this one was awarded to CPI Copisa Industrial and supposes the extension of a factory of enrichment of iron ore near Zouérate (Mauritania) for 100.5 million euros.
This project poses a great challenge since the mine is built in a desert zone bordering the Sahara and close to areas of conflict with which applied technologies have to respond to the highest environmental demands to which must be added the high degree of isolation that makes difficult any technical assistance in case of intervention. In addition, it is essential to use video technologies that allow effective detection of long distance regardless of climatic conditions, both in daytime and nocturnal hours in order to associate any intrusion detection in the perimeter to the protocols established by those responsible for preserving security in the enclosure .
The project combines different technologies for video capture of high resolution context for the control of indoor areas and supervision of 360º of the perimeter by means of thermographic vision systems with a range greater than 2 Kms away. All of these resources are centralized in the control center and managed by a unified platform of VMS security systems.
